Pre-Consultation Guidelines
“We are excited that you took the first step and scheduled your consultation whether you are new to permanent makeup or someone who already had permanent makeup before we are happy to answer any questions you may have. ”
If you are New to Permanent Makeup
Your skin type and current eyebrow condition will determine the permanent makeup technique our expert artists will recommend.
Please come prepared with the following answers.
- If you pencil your eyebrows daily it’s recommended to bring your pencil with you.
- If you are taking any medications please bring the list of medications with you and indicate what is the medication for.
- If you are using skin care products please let us know your skincare routine.
- If you workout actively let us know the frequency so we can determine how the healing time may affect your daily activity.
- If you have any travel plans or going to an event let us know during your consultation to schedule your appointment accordingly.
- If you have any of the conditions under the contraindication section you will be required to get a physician’s release to get the procedure done.
- If you have a favorite eyebrow shape or style bring a picture with you.
If you have Prior Permanent Makeups
Please be advised that prior permanent makeup often requires multiple treatments such as color and shape correction even tattoo removal depending on the nature of the required correction.
During consultation, you will be advised on the appropriate solution to achieve your desired result.
You will be asked the following questions:
- What are you trying to correct? (Shape, color)
- How many times have you had permanent makeup done in the same area?
- How long ago was your last treatment?
- Are you taking any medications?
If yes, please provide a list of medications - Have you had any type of tattoo removal done in the past? If yes, how many times and what type of tattoo removal?
- Do you have any of the conditions from the contraindication list?
- What is your skincare routine and what kind of skincare products do you use at home?
Contraindications
Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients who have the following below:
- Pregnant or nursing
- Diabetic
- Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
- Viral infections and/or diseases
- Epilepsy
- Pacemaker or major heart problems
- Organ transplant
- Skin irritations or
Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.) - Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
- Botox in the past 2 weeks
The consultation is complimentary. If you are not able to make the appointment for any reason please kindly let us know ahead of time. We respect your time and wish to have the same courtesy.
Please be advised in case of a No show without any notification, we won’t be able to extend future services.

How To Prepare For Your Eyebrow Appointment
“We are excited that you chose us as your salon to get your eyebrows permanently done. We know it’s a big decision and we are dedicated to giving the eyebrow of your dreams. ”
Certain types of medications will affect the final result and longevity of your permanent makeup so it is very important to follow the pre and post-care instructions.
To have a successful appointment please follow the following recommendations:
Important!!!
If you have any of the conditions from the contraindications list we will require the physician’s release or your signed consent to perform the procedure. The results are not guaranteed with any of those medical conditions as medications and the condition of your skin often affect how the skin retains the pigment color. You may need more frequent touch-ups initially or following the initial procedure.
We will not perform the procedure if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are undergoing any type of cancer treatment!
Pre-care Instructions:
- Please arrive on time on the day of your appointment
- Fill out the paperwork ahead of time see the link below if you are able to print it at home (fillable form)
- Don’t work out the day of the procedure
- Don’t tan or have a sunburned face
- Don’t take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure
- No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure
- No waxing, tweezing, or tinting 3 days before the procedure
- If you had Botox done recently, you must wait for at least two weeks
- Skin treatments such as Retin-A that thin the skin in the procedure area must be discontinued for at least 30 days prior to the procedure. Accutane users must be off Accutane for at least one year. Check with your dermatologist about specific medications.

We value your time and we are asking for the same courtesy. If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason please notify us at least 24 hrs prior to your procedure. In case of a No show without any notice future procedure appointments will not be offered.

Aftercare Guidelines
“Thank you so much for picking Kiss Kreations for your amazing new eyebrows! We’re really happy you chose us to help make your eyebrows look fantastic. Now that you have your new look, we want to make sure you take good care of it. ”
Please follow these instructions for at least 7 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results of your new brows.
If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your microshading results.
- Avoid getting anything on the brows, including water, except for cleansing as directed.
- You may blot for the first few hours with sterile gauze to remove any excess fluids, if necessary.
- No exercise for 7 days. After 7 days – when exercising, wear a sweatband to avoid sweat on brow area.
- Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight. After completely healed (30 days), use a sunscreen to avoid fading from the sun.
- Eyebrows will scab or become slightly dry following the treatment. If they itch, DO NO SCRATCH them.
- If your eyebrows get wet during the healing process, pat them dry with a towel, DO NOT RUB.
- Avoid using daily skincare products directly on the eyebrows.
- If you are due to give blood after the procedure, please inform your nurse about the microshading treatment you have had as this might alter the results.
- Chemical peels, or any other medical procedure should only be done once the healing process is complete; please take this into consideration if you’re scheduling a touch-up as they cannot be done 6 weeks prior to microshading.
- No makeup should be applied directly on the brows during the healing process (30 days).
- To maintain results try to schedule a touch-up of your microshaded eyebrows at least once a year.
- No sun-tanning or salon tanning (after healed 30 days).
- Do not put the treated area directly into a hot shower spray.
- Do not use hot tubs, steam rooms or saunas.
- Do not go swimming.
- Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your brows.
- Do not apply ice or ice water to the treated area.
- Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight.
